This 5 days spring itinerary immerses you in the historical grandeur and natural beauty of Beijing. The journey combines iconic landmarks like the Forbidden City, Mutianyu Great Wall, and Summer Palace with the city’s most celebrated spring blossom spots, including Yuyuantan Park’s cherry blossoms. The experience is enriched with traditional hutong explorations, local food tastings, and a seasonal fruit-picking activity. Designed to capture the essence of a blooming Beijing, it offers a perfect blend of culture, history, and seasonal charm.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide. The tour begins with a visit to the historic Shichahai area, where you’ll take a traditional rickshaw ride through the hutongs (old lanes) and explore nearby Yandaixiejie Street. In the afternoon, you’ll see the Temple of Heaven, where spring blooms such as magnolias, wild peach blossoms, and apricot flowers are typically in season.

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, followed by an exploration of the Forbidden City—where spring blossoms such as magnolia, begonia, apricot, and lilac are typically in bloom. Afterwards, enjoy a panoramic view of the palace complex from Jingshan Park, home to spring flowers like winter jasmine, lilac, and peony. The tour will then conclude with a stroll through the nearby Qianmen Street, Dashilan Pedestrian Street, and Yangmeizhuxiejie.

After visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall (including the round-trip cable car), where you can enjoy spring blossoms such as mountain apricot, peach, and pear, you will have the opportunity to pick cherries or peaches at a local orchard. Each person may take away one pound of freshly picked fruit.
